I'm just a regular reader who found your blog ages ago and have been following along. That picture of the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Little India is absolutely stunning.

Here is a description from Wikipedia of the Durian:

The durian (IPA: [duɾiɑn]) is the fruit of trees of the genus Durio belonging to the Malvaceae, a large family which includes hibiscus, okra and cotton. Widely known and revered in Southeast Asia as the "King of Fruits",[1] the fruit is distinctive for its large size, unique odour, and a formidable thorn-covered husk. And the odor:
