St. Katharine Docks
In recent memory, has there ever been a more beautiful autumn weekend than this past one? I snuck away to St. Katharine Docks, one of my favorite places in the city. It's right behind Tower Bridge but feels a million miles away; so quiet compared to the noisy areas around it. Something about the enclosed neighborhood, the million pound yachts, the Starbucks peninsula.... Lovely. I also recently discovered a Waitrose there, my new guilty pleasure, so I fortunately will be spending a lot more time here!
ohhhhh I LOVE St Katherine's docks! I have taken visitors there many times - such a lovely little place:)

Still really enjoying your blog; I've got to Janaury 04 and it must be one of the most interesting and well written blogs around. You will have picked up by now that The Open is called The Open - only Americans call it The British Open...

I SAW this when I was Google-Earthing London a few days ago . . . thought: "WTH? There's a bleedin' MARINA right behind the Tower of London??? What's with that? What a surprise.
